Today, we're switching your organization's default Copilot model from Haiku to Gemma 4 — hosted on our own TELUS Sovereign AI Factory in Canada.
We're excited about this one: Gemma 4 doesn't just keep your data and infrastructure under Canadian sovereign control, it also outperforms Haiku. Better answers, same trusted foundation.
The best part? You don't have to do anything. New conversations with the default Copilot will start using Gemma 4 automatically, and any chats already in progress will keep working exactly as they do now.
