Fuel iX Copilots — Week 29

This week brought a solid mix of new capabilities and reliability improvements. Highlights include the full launch of the MCP Apps Marketplace, expanded file format support, and a round of fixes addressing knowledge base sync, chat UI glitches, and manager analytics.

MCP Apps Marketplace now available to all users: The MCP Apps Marketplace is fully open — you can now browse and connect MCP apps directly into your AI workflows without any special access required.
JSON file upload support: You can now upload .json files to a copilot's knowledge base, adding to the range of file formats available for your AI workflows.
Smarter file loading for AI code execution: When an AI agent runs JavaScript code, it now downloads only the specific knowledge base files needed for each task rather than the entire knowledge base upfront. This improves reliability and performance, especially with large knowledge bases.
Knowledge base auto-sync fixed for Google Drive and SharePoint: A bug was silently preventing nightly auto-sync from running for Google Drive and SharePoint knowledge bases. Syncs will now run reliably on schedule as expected.
Consistent access handling for restricted Knowledge Base URLs: If you try to open a knowledge base you don't have permission to view, you'll now reliably see a clear "not found" page instead of unpredictable errors or silent redirects.
User memory no longer enabled by default: Fixed an issue where user memory in conversations was incorrectly turned on by default if the setting had never been explicitly configured. Memory is now off unless you intentionally enable it.
Settings save fixed for newly created organizations: Resolved a validation error that prevented settings from being saved on brand-new organizations, which was blocking actions like enabling Agent Trainer.
Chat input no longer hidden by knowledge base sync banner: When a Google Drive or SharePoint knowledge base is out of sync and a banner appears, the chat input box now stays visible and accessible rather than being pushed off-screen.
Chat composer animation glitch fixed: Resolved a visual glitch that appeared when typing long lines of text in the chat input, resulting in a smoother experience.
Broader compatibility for authentication servers: A new option allows authentication servers that don't support scope parameters to connect with Fuel iX, expanding compatibility with a wider range of identity providers.
Enterprise usage dashboard for managers: Managers can now view aggregate AI usage, token consumption, and cost trends for their entire reporting chain in the Dev Portal analytics dashboard, with a searchable per-member breakdown.
Per-model usage breakdown for managers: Managers can now see AI usage and costs broken down by individual model, making it easier to understand which models are driving spend across their team.
Improved "Breakdown by Team Member" analytics table: The team member usage table in the manager dashboard has been restored with server-side pagination and email search, ensuring it performs reliably even for large organizations.
