Fuel iX Copilots — Week 31 · July 27

This week brought a solid mix of new features and fixes across Fuel iX Copilots. Highlights include more conversation starters, a new AI model option, and clearer visibility into which tools are working behind the scenes — alongside a handful of fixes for crashes and confusing error messages.

Copilots now support up to 12 conversation starters: Copilot builders can now configure up to 12 conversation starters (previously limited to 4), displayed in a scrollable row with navigation controls. This makes it easier to surface key workflows and guide users toward meaningful interactions right from the start.
MCP app usage now visible in Copilot responses: When a Copilot uses MCP servers and tools to answer a question, an "Apps used:" section now appears below the response showing the logo of each MCP server involved — so you can see at a glance which integrations powered the result.
Simplified app management in Copilot settings: The Apps tab in Copilot settings now has per-app toggle switches instead of separate Authenticate/Revoke buttons, making it easier to enable or disable integrations. A new "Manage connections" link also provides quick access to connection settings.
Claude Sonnet 5 now available in the model picker: Users can now select Claude Sonnet 5 from the Anthropic section when configuring a Copilot. It supports up to 1M input tokens, 128K output tokens, and full tool calling.
Manager reports now available in the Admin API: Managers can now retrieve a paginated list of their direct and indirect reports via the Admin API, with optional email search filtering — making it easier to manage and audit team structures.
Employee-level usage filtering for managers: The usage endpoints in the Admin API now accept up to 25 employee email addresses, so managers can quickly drill into usage data for specific team members.
Fixed a crash in Prism editing sessions: Resolved an issue where Prism editing sessions would crash when no user message was present in the conversation thread. Editing Prisms via the Generative UI and starting conversations from the Prisms page now works reliably.
Fixed a misleading error message in the Prism Share modal: The "Community sharing is disabled by your organization" message no longer incorrectly flashes when opening the Share modal. This was a timing issue during settings load that caused unnecessary confusion.
Fixed file download errors for Google Drive and SharePoint files with special characters: Files with special characters in their names — such as smart quotes or dashes — no longer fail to download with an ERR_INVALID_CHAR error.
Improved SharePoint authentication error messages: When an unrecognized authentication failure occurs while connecting to SharePoint, you'll now see a clear, actionable error message instead of a raw internal key — no need to open developer tools to diagnose the issue.
