Fuel iX Copilots — Week 40 · June 28–4
October 5th, 2026 by Leonardo Fullana
This week focused on stability and reliability — tightening up knowledge base syncing, fixing a chat crash, and giving admins a cleaner way to manage integrations.
- More reliable knowledge base syncing: Auto-sync now automatically pauses and retries when it hits rate limits, so knowledge base and folder syncs complete successfully instead of silently failing during busy periods.
- Fixed chat crashes from malformed tool data: Conversations containing improperly formatted tool call entries no longer crash the chat interface — messages now render reliably in these cases.
- Safer knowledge base file management: Removing a file from a knowledge base no longer deletes its underlying data unless the entire knowledge base is removed, preventing accidental data loss.
- More conversation starters supported: Copilots can now have up to 12 conversation starters via the API, matching what's available in the UI, giving more flexibility for guiding user interactions.
