What's New in Fuel iX Copilots - Week of January 26, 2026
February 2nd, 2026 by Mark Dennison
Polish & Refinement Week! ✨ Following last week's major feature releases, this week focuses on smoothing the rough edges and enhancing the user experience—especially for Google Drive integration and knowledge management.
🚀 Improvements & Enhancements
Google Drive Integration Polish
Building on last week's Folder Sync release, we've refined the Google Drive experience with important UI and usability improvements:
- Improved file list accessibility - Fixed an issue where the loading indicator blocked access to the file list dropdown, making it easier to browse your synced files
- UI style corrections - Enhanced visual consistency and polish across the Google Drive integration interface
- Better error handling - Clearer feedback when files encounter issues during processing
Knowledge Management Reliability
- Fixed silent PDF upload failures - Resolved an issue where PDF uploads would fail without proper error messaging when no knowledge base existed. You'll now see clear feedback if something goes wrong during file upload.
Platform Observability
- Enhanced MCP usage monitoring - Improved tracking and observability for Model Context Protocol (MCP) usage, helping us ensure reliable performance and quickly identify any integration issues.
A focused week of refinements that make your daily copilot experience smoother and more reliable. Sometimes the best updates are the ones that quietly make everything work better!
