What's New in Fuel iX Copilots - Week of June 30, 2025

We're excited to bring you this week's update to Fuel iX Copilots. While we're hard at work on some major new features (stay tuned!), this release focuses on enhancing security, performance monitoring, and overall user experience.

Generally Available

Enhanced Security and Performance

  • Improved JWT Token Management: We've updated our session token creation process to include all custom claims, ensuring seamless access assertions across our entire platform. This enhancement improves security and provides a more robust authentication experience.
  • EX-API Sentry Integration: We've integrated Sentry error tracking and monitoring capabilities into EX-API. This addition will help us identify and resolve issues more quickly, leading to improved application performance and reliability.

User Experience Improvements

  • File Replace Workflow Enhancements: We've streamlined the file replacement process, allowing same-name file replacements without confirmation and preventing ambiguous replacements. This update also ensures in-place updates with improved upload state handling, making file management more intuitive and efficient.
  • Chat Interface Refinements: We've made some subtle but impactful improvements to the chat interface:
    • Fixed cursor positioning issues in expanded prompt and system prompt input fields, enhancing text editing functionality.
    • The chat input field now automatically receives focus after selecting a conversation starter, creating a smoother interaction flow.

Bug Fixes

  • Knowledge Base Upload Fix: We've resolved an issue in the copilot file upload process that was incorrectly triggering a duplicate file error. Users can now upload files to their knowledge base without encountering this false positive error.
