Administration Overview

The Platform Administration section provides comprehensive tools for managing your organization's settings, users, and teams across the Fuel iX suite of products. These admin tools are accessible from the main navigation menu under the Settings option.

Accessing Admin Tools

  1. Log in to your Fuel iX account
  2. Click on the "Settings" option in the main navigation menu
  3. Select the desired admin page from the available options

User Roles and Access Levels

Access to admin tools is determined by user roles within your organization:

Viewers

Can access:

  • Profile page (view personal settings, edit display name)
  • Team Management page (create/manage teams, share copilots)

Admins

Have all Viewer access, plus:

  • Edit Organization page (configure org-wide settings)
  • Manage Users page (manage all user accounts)

Profile

  • Personal user settings management
  • View account details and limits
  • Edit display name
  • Available to all users

Team Management

  • Create and manage teams for copilot sharing
  • Support for unlimited team creation and membership
  • Automatic copilot sharing with new team members
  • Separate team roles from organization roles
  • Available to all users with varying permissions
  • Manage conversation history visibility for team members

Edit Organization (Admin Only)

  • Configure organization-wide settings
  • Manage branding and logos
  • Set default user limits and budgets
  • Control feature availability
  • Configure welcome messages and announcements

Manage Users (Admin Only)

  • Comprehensive user management
  • Add and invite new users
  • Manage user roles and permissions
  • Control individual model access
  • Enable/disable API keys
  • Monitor user status

Official Copilots Management

  • Create and manage organization-wide Official Copilots
  • Configure Official Copilot settings, including:
    • Visibility (Published/Draft state)
    • Sort order in navigation
    • Default Copilot designation
  • Monitor Official Copilot usage and performance
  • Control access to Official Copilots across the organization

Important Notes

  • Email addresses are unique identifiers across the Fuel iX platform
  • Organization Admins have full access to all features
  • Team roles are separate from organization roles
  • Most numerical limits are not currently enforced
  • Changes to organization settings may affect new users only
