What is Fuel iX Copilots?

Fuel iX Copilots is an AI platform that gives you access to a range of AI copilots — each one a conversational AI assistant you can chat with, ask questions, and use to get real work done. Some copilots are general-purpose. Others are built and tuned for specific tasks, teams, or workflows.

There are three kinds of copilots:

Official copilots are purpose-built copilots published by your organization — curated, configured, and ready to use. They appear in the Official copilots section of your sidebar. Learn about official copilots →

Custom copilots are copilots you build yourself. You can configure them with a specific focus, connect them to knowledge bases and apps, and share them with your team. Learn about custom copilots →

Have your first chat

Click Fuel iX Copilot in the sidebar under Official copilots.
Click in the message box and type your question or request.
Press Enter or click the send button.

That's it. Your copilot responds, and you can continue the conversation from there.

Try something real. Paste in a document and ask for a summary. Describe a task you do regularly and ask for help with it. The more context you give, the more useful the response.

Finding your way around

The sidebar is your home base. Here's what you'll find:

Official copilots — Copilots your organization has set up and made available to you. These are curated for specific use cases and may have access to specialized knowledge or tools.

My copilots — Custom copilots you've built yourself. Click + Create your own copilot at the bottom of this section to build one.

Community — Copilots shared publicly within the Fuel iX community. A good place to explore what others have built. Learn about community copilots →

My Copilot Hub — All your chats and copilots in one place. Use this to pick up where you left off.

All history — A full log of every chat you've had, across all copilots.

Knowledge Hub — Your knowledge bases. Uploaded files and documents that copilots can reference when answering your questions. Learn about knowledge bases →

Set your default copilot

When you log in, Fuel iX loads your default copilot automatically. Unless you've changed it, that's the org default set by your organization.

You can set any copilot as your personal default. Your choice overrides the org default and persists across sessions.

To set a personal default:

Find the copilot in your sidebar.
Click the three-dot menu on its card.
Select Set as my default.

Your default copilot is marked with a heart icon and pinned to the top of My copilots. To change or remove it, open the same menu and select Remove as my default.

What copilots can do

Out of the box, a copilot can hold a conversation, answer questions, and help you think through problems. Depending on how it's configured, it may also be able to:

Search the internet — pull in current information from the web
Generate and edit images — create visuals from a description or modify an uploaded image
Execute code — run Python in a sandboxed environment to analyze data or automate tasks
Query uploaded files — search and reason over documents you've uploaded to the chat
Connect to external apps — via the Apps Marketplace, copilots can access tools like Atlassian, Notion, GitHub, and more
Remember things about you — with Memory enabled, a copilot can retain context about your preferences and work style across chats
