Your Connections page is where you manage your personal authentication to external apps and cloud storage services. These connections let copilots access your data in those services when you use them in a chat.

Access your connections at any time from Profile > Connections in the account menu.

Two types of connections

The Connections page has two sections:

External apps — MCP-powered integrations with external services like Atlassian, Notion, and GitHub. These are authenticated once here and become available to use in any copilot that has that app enabled.

Connections — Cloud storage connections (Google Drive and SharePoint) that let you upload files from those services in chats and link folders to knowledge bases.

External apps

External apps shown on this page are the ones available to your organization. Each shows its current authentication status — Not authenticated or Authenticated (with a Revoke Access option).

Authenticating an app

1. Click Authenticate next to the app.
2. A browser window opens to the app's authentication page.
3. Sign in with your account for that service and grant the requested permissions.
4. Once complete, the status updates and the app is ready to use.

Revoking access

Click Revoke Access to disconnect a service. The connection is removed immediately. Any copilot that uses that app will no longer be able to access that service on your behalf until you re-authenticate.

App availability varies

The apps listed on your Connections page depend on which apps your organization administrator has enabled. Contact your admin if you don't see an app you need.

Cloud storage connections

Google Drive

Connect Google Drive to:

• Upload files from Drive directly in chats
• Link Drive folders to copilot knowledge bases

To connect: Click Connect Google Drive and complete the Google authentication. You can use any Google account — it doesn't need to match your Fuel iX login.

To disconnect: Click Disconnect next to the Google Drive entry. Files already uploaded to a knowledge base remain accessible; new uploads from Drive will require reconnection.

SharePoint

Connect SharePoint to link SharePoint folders to copilot knowledge bases.

Prerequisites: Your organization administrator must have configured the SharePoint integration before you can connect.

To connect: Click Connect SharePoint and authenticate with your Microsoft 365 account.

To disconnect: Click Disconnect next to the SharePoint entry.

SharePoint requires admin setup

If you don't see a SharePoint connection option, your admin may not have enabled it yet. Admins: see External Connections settings.

Privacy and permissions

Your connections are yours. When you authenticate an external service:

• The connection applies only to your account
• Other users cannot use your credentials
• You can only access data in that service that you already have permission to view
• Actions taken through connected apps are attributed to your account

If you share a copilot that uses connected apps, other users will be prompted to authenticate with their own credentials when they try to use those features.
