Official Copilots serve as your organization's approved AI assistants, ensuring consistent responses and standardized processes across all teams. As an administrator, you have full control over these copilots' creation, deployment, and management.
Creating Official Copilots
Prerequisites
- Administrator access to Fuel iX
- A clear understanding of the intended use case
- Prepared knowledge bases or system prompts (if needed)
Creation Methods

Convert Existing Copilot to Official
- Navigate to the copilot you own
- Open the copilot settings
- Change the access type to "Official"
- Save changes

Create New Official Copilot
- Access the Official Copilots Manager
- Click "Create New Official Copilot"
- Fill in required details:
- Name
- Description
- System prompt
- Knowledge bases (optional)
- Set initial state (Published/Draft)
- Save the copilot
Managing Official Copilots
Official Copilots Manager
Access the Official Copilots Manager to:
- View all Official Copilots (published and draft)
- Reorder copilots using drag-and-drop
- Change publication status
- Edit copilot settings
- Monitor usage analytics
Publication States
Official Copilots can be in two states:
- Published: Visible to all users
- Draft: Visible only to administrators
Setting a Default Copilot
- Navigate to Official Copilots Manager
- Select the desired copilot
- Click "Set as Default"
- Confirm the change
You can revert to the Fuel iX Copilot as default at any time.
