Training Session Language Selection
New feature that allows users to choose the simulation language before starting a training session. Previously, training sessions automatically used the same language as the user's UI locale. With this update, users can now select the language used by the AI customer during the simulation, independently from the interface language.
Overview
Previously, training sessions automatically used the same language as the user's UI locale. With this update, users can now select the language used by the AI customer during the simulation, independently from the interface language.
This new functionality is available for both voice and chat training sessions and allows users to simulate conversations in 32 supported languages.
- Voice simulations are powered by ElevenLabs Flash
- Chat simulations are powered by LLM language support
- The language can be selected directly on the session preview page, before starting the training session.
How It Works
-
The user opens the training session preview page.
-
A Simulation Language dropdown is displayed.
- The dropdown defaults to the user's UI locale language.

-
The user can select a different language from the supported list.
-
When the session starts, the AI customer communicates in the selected language.
Behavior Rules
Default Language
- The simulation language defaults to the user's UI locale language.
Language Scope
- The selected language affects only the AI customer communication during the training session, including:
- AI customer voice responses
- AI customer chat responses
UI Independence
- Changing the simulation language does not impact the platform interface language.
⚠️ Important: Evaluation Language
- Evaluations continue to be rendered in the user's UI language, regardless of the selected simulation language.
